Klava displays word predictions above each key—flick up to accept them. Combined with swipe gestures, 27 languages, beautiful themes, and 100% on-device learning, Klava makes typing faster and smarter without compromising privacy.
As you type, predictions appear above keys. Flick up on any key to instantly insert that word. Klava learns your writing style completely on-device—no data ever leaves your phone.
Swipe left to delete entire words. Hold spacebar to switch languages. Enable Cursor Mode to navigate text using WASD keys. Some themes add unique gestures—like swiping down to access symbols in Beryl theme.

100% private. All predictions, learning, and processing happen on your device. Klava never collects, stores, or transmits your typing data. Your words stay yours.
We made sure you can use Klava even without Full Access! However, Apple makes it a requirement for some features to work, including haptics and consistent sync of data between the Klava app and the keyboard (e.g. to display 'learned' words).
Yes! Turn things on and off as you wish: predictions, gestures, cursor mode, emojis and more in Settings. Some themes offer custom colour selection. More stuff in the making!
Klava builds a personal dictionary as you type, using a language engine to improve predictions. All learning happens on-device. You can view and edit your Learned Words anytime in the app.
Yes! Use Klava in any app that accepts text input. Some password fields may require the default keyboard for security—this is an iOS system requirement.
Make sure you've enabled Full Access in Settings → General → Keyboard → Klava. Features like haptics require Full Access to work. Still having issues? Drop us a line at type@klava.space and we'll help you out!
Fear not! Ensure that you have switched on the Klava keyboard in iOS Settings ⚙️ and enabled Full Access for it.
You can find this menu in two ways 🔎:
1. Either by going Settings → Apps → Klava → Keyboards → Toggle Klava On → Allow Full Access
2. Or by going Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Klava (if it's not in the list already, tap Add New Keyboard and find Klava) → Allow Full Access
Then tap the textbox on the previous page in the app, press or hold the globe icon 🌐 in the bottom left corner of your screen to select the Klava keyboard, and you should be good to go! 🫡
If things still don't work... lame! You can skip that step to use Klava without Full Access. Sadly not all features will work without Full Access enabled. Drop us a note to type@klava.space and we will help you troubleshoot! 🙏🏻
Klava requires iOS 17.6 or later and works on iPhone and iPad. Android version is being made baked though 👀
Klava is free to download with core features included. Premium themes and advanced features are available through one-time purchases, or subscription to access everything. Thanks for supporting the development 🙏🏻
Klava is iOS-only currently. We're in the early stages of Android development, and are aiming to release it somewhere early 2026.
We are aiming to release at least one major update per month, adding new themes, languages and features (or all of that)!
